This is one of the most adaptive imitative patterns created.
In the Eastern zones, this pattern accurately imitates the March Brown and a number of related mayflies. In the Central and Western zones this pattern accurately imitates the large "Grey Fox" mayfly, or Siphlonurus solitaria. This pattern also refers to the Gray Fox or S. Fuscum.
