Description:
March Brown, Western
The Western March Brown's emergence should be called the "lunch-time hatch," as depending on the air temperature they hatch in the late mornings or early afternoons.
This is a great pattern to carry along when most other hatch activity has subsided or is yet to begin. They have very condensed hatches that last less than a couple of hours, but are very productive during the actual emergence and as the nymphs start their behavioral drift prior to emergence.
