Description:
Pale Evening Dun
The Pale Evening Dun hatch usually coincides with large sulphur hatches. Slight variations in size and color are enough to cause the trout to bypass the sulphurs in favor of the pale evening duns. If you're fishing eastern or central rivers it's wise to have a few pale evening duns in your box for these occasions.
General emergence will vary depending on temperature and weather conditions, but the subiamgo usually emerge in the afternoon period. Spinner activity is usually in the late afternoons as the females fall spent to the water after oviposting.
