Description:
Skykomish Sunrise
Developed over 60 years ago, do not fish it's namesake without it.
In 1940, Ken and George McCloud developed this pattern for fishing on Wasington's Skykomish River. Its simplicity of design and color combination of red and white help to make it an effective steelhead fly. If you have ever fished a variety of steelhead patterns, you have found that a white wing pattern can be very effective for steelhead. The Skykomish Sunrise will fit the bill.
