Sulphur
One of the best Summer hatches in the Northeastern, Southeastern, and Central regions. Don't be caught without an adequate representation of sulphurs in May and early June.

Look for Sulphurs in medium to fast water types. Trout are very particular during a sulphur emergence to the instect stage, color and size. Be sure to have multiple sizes and at least one emerging-style sulphur in your fly box. Few other patterns accurately imitate the sulphur well enough to produce good results. Sulphurs also provide one of the better pattern choices for inclement weather conditions.
