Description:
White Miller
The "White Mayfly" can create great feeding activity when the nymphs begin their emergence and the duns are flying low above the water, having just emerged or in the process of oviposting.
This was the first mayfly scientifically classified in America. It offers the fly fisher the opportunity to take advantage of a late season hatch with very active feeding activity. These mayflies are principally found in the East and Central regions, but are also indigenous to Western rivers with moderate current flow rates.
