This pattern is best fished wet and deep and should be included in everyone’s flybox. It is effective on a wide variety of water types and fish species.

Bounce this pattern on the bottom for maximum effectiveness. In waters with stronger currents, apply a small amount of wight 18" above our fly to get down. Tied in a variety of colors, the Woolly Bugger should always be considered, especially when the fish get lethargic. The long marabou tail provides action in the water. It’s buggy-looking profile provides attractor qualities.
